Motorcycling in India
I have just returned from a 2,400 km motorcycle trip around western India with a group of Australian motorcyclists. Led by Denise Ferris of Ferris Wheels of Sydney, Australia, our 3 week journey commenced in Delhi and rolled west through the Thar desert through Neemrana, Mahensar, Bikander, and Phalodi to its westernmost point at the golden city of Jaiselmer. Then, we headed south to Jodhpur, the hill station of Mt. Abu and to the beautiful lake city of Udaipur. From there, we headed north to the Hindu holy city of Pushkar and to Jaipur and Bharatpu
before heading out of Rajasthan to Agra and back to Delhi.
